Dr Ang Corey Damien graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS), School of Medicine in 1997 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).

After completing his initial training in various speciality fields of medicine and surgery, Dr Corey answered his calling in Family Medicine and pursued a Post-graduate Diploma in Family Medicine. He is an accredited Family Physician on the Register of Family Physicians in Singapore and has completed his training in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Dr Corey is a family physician who believes in providing holistic and comprehensive care to his patients and their families. He has special interests in managing chronic diseases and performing joint injections for various Orthopaedic conditions such as frozen shoulder, trigger finger, tennis/golfer’s elbow, plantar fasciitis (heel spur), etc. He has also developed a keen interest in the management of chronic coughs and obstructive sleep apnoea.

Dr Ang Jo Anne graduated from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. She returned to Singapore upon graduation and practised in several hospitals including Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National University Hospital and Changi General Hospital, where she has gained experience in multiple specialities such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Practice, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Geriatrics. After leaving the government service, she joined Raffles Medical Group for three years before joining My Family Clinic Group.

As a female doctor and a mother of two, Dr Ang is particularly passionate about promoting women’s health in Singapore. Her special interests are contraception, cancer screening, weight management, sexually transmitted disease screening and menopause. She strives to promote awareness of women’s health through patient education, health screening and modification of lifestyle. She believes that early detection and screening can potentially save lives.

Dr Au Wei Min, Leonard graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003 and attained his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2009. He has previously worked in the Department of Family Medicine and Continuing Care (FMCC) in Singapore General Hospital and in SingHealth Polyclinics at Bedok. He also has extensive experience in the private sector prior to joining My Family Clinic.

As a registered Family Physician, Dr Au is committed to providing personal and continuing medical care to his patients.

Dr Barry Thng graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1991. He holds a Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) and Graduate Diploma in Dermatology. He is also a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, a professional institution of medical and dental specialists devoted to advancing the art and science of medicine in Singapore.

Dr Barry’s passion has always been about bringing better care to patients. A strong believer in value creation, he is proud to lead a team of diverse talent in growing Alliance Healthcare Group from a single GP clinic to a forward-looking healthcare group, leveraging on the latest technologies to simplify and personalise healthcare deliveries. His vision is to promote the accessibility of quality healthcare for Singaporeans and the people in the region. He is passionate about Family Medicine and believes that all Singaporeans should have access to a good family doctor.

Dr Gu Weixiang graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2014 and underwent postgraduate training in the General Surgery Residency Programme. He worked in various tertiary hospitals under SingHealth, National University Health System and National Healthcare Group. He has attained a broad base of experience by rotating through many departments including Internal Medicine, Orthopaedic, Paediatric and General Surgery, Urology, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Medicine and Polyclinics. 

Apart from treating acute and chronic medical conditions, Dr Gu also enjoys helping his patients achieve overall wellness through positive lifestyle choices, disease prevention, health screenings, and improvement of self-esteem by looking good and feeling good. He believes that this is a stepping stone to achieving one’s full potential in life. 

Dr Gu is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and holds a Diploma from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is also a certified instructor in Acute Trauma Life Support. He believes in life-long learning and constantly seeks to upgrade his skills and knowledge. 

Dr Lim Han Wei graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM). He is also an accredited Family Physician on the Register of Family Physicians in Singapore.

Dr Lim completed his training under the SingHealth Family Medicine Residency Programme. During this period, he gained exposure to a wide range of core rotations relevant to Family Medicine such as Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Public Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Children’s Emergency, Accident & Emergency and Primary Care.

Dr Lim has a passion for providing patient-centered care with a holistic approach. He believes that primary care is the best platform to deliver personal, comprehensive and continuing care for individuals and their families. By offering a full range of acute, chronic and preventive services, he aspires to treat patients not only for illnesses but also contribute to their wellbeing and quality of life as well.

Dr Ong Kok Liang, Jason graduated from GKT School of Medicine at Kings College London, United Kingdom, in 2004. He served his housemanship at Maidstone Hospital in Kent before returning to Singapore in 2005.

He was subsequently accepted into the Singapore General Hospital Internal Medicine track. Between 2005 and 2009, he completed a myriad of medical postings that included Medical Oncology, Accident and Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Neurology, Infectious Disease and Renal Medicine.

He eventually left for General Practice in 2009 and had since completed a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2012.

Dr Ong is grateful for the opportunity to serve as a doctor. Borrowing a quote from William Osler, one of founding professors of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr Ong believes that a good physician is one that treats the patients rather than just the disease. He has gone on many mission trips to India, East Timor and Vietnam, and has found them fulfilling and rewarding. He looks forward to more to come.

He rotated through clinical postings in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Orthopaedic Surgery during his houseman year at SGH, obtaining the Best House Officer award upon completion of his housemanship. Subsequently, he spent more than 3 years in the ENT departments of CGH, SGH and KKH, actively involved in managing a wide variety of ear, nose, throat and neck conditions both conservatively and surgically before joining My Family Clinic at Woodlands Glen.

Dr Tan has a special interest in seeing patients with ENT, head and neck conditions. He believes that each patient is uniquely different and is an advocate of personalised medical care for each and every patient, striking a balance between short-term and long-term treatment strategies. He is currently pursuing his post-graduate GDFM studies. During his free time, he juggles his practice with sports and music.

Upon graduation, Dr Toh has gained a wide base of experience, having completed clinical rotations in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Emergency and Children’s Emergency across major public hospitals in Singapore. He worked as a Resident Physician in Woodlands Health Campus for 2 years, prior to joining My Family Clinic Group.

Since 2006, Dr Wong has been rotated through various disciplines in Singapore’s public health institutions. He has started practising Family Medicine in polyclinics since 2010.
