If you are diabetic, you should screen for this vision-threatening disease at least once a year.
Our experienced staff will visit your home to do the screening. It includes
(a) Visual acuity test: How well you see in both eyes, and
(b) AI-powered retinal imaging: We will take pictures of your retinas and send it through a HSA-approved AI system to detect3 major eye diseases, namely glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Note this is the same AI that is used to detect diabetic retinopathy in the Singapore public health system (polyclinics). Images that are deemed positive will be graded by experienced human graders at the Singapore National Eyecare Centre Ocular Reading Centre.
